Northeast Columbia Community

Northeast Columbia is one of the fastest growing areas in the Midlands.  Route 277 directly connects Northeast Columbia with downtown Columbia, the capital city of South Carolina.  Northeast Columbia also has easy access to I-77 (to Charlotte, NC and Charleston), I-20 ( to Florence and Augusta, GA) and I-26 (to Spartanburg and Greenville).   The area is also very close to Fort Jackson.Northeast Columbia has experienced huge residential development growth in the past decade.  There are a great number of new construction neighborhoods, especially along Clemson Drive, in addition to older established neighborhoods.   Newcomers who are looking to relocate will find Northeast Columbia a perfect fit because there have been so many families who have recently settled in the area. Residents are zoned for award winning Richland 2 County Schools.

There is an endless amount of possibilities for fun in Northeast Columbia.  The area offers a wide variety of parks and recreation including the Richland Tennis Center, Meadowlake Park, Polo Road Park, North Springs Park, and 2 public and 4 private golf courses. The Village at Sandhills is a 300 acre new retail center with great shopping, various dining, and entertainment for everyone in the family.  Two Notch Road is also nearby, which has always been a successful commercial center. Blythewood, SC is a city that is still considered part of Northeast Columbia.  The more rural city offers residents horse farms, homes with very large lots, and a more peaceful surrounding.
