Cayce sits on the banks of the Congaree River across from Columbia, South Carolina’s capital with an approximate population of 13,000 citizens.  The city is home to Fort Granby, the site where numerous important Revolutionary War battles were fought.  The city was officially formed in 1914 and was named after a prominent citizen, William J. Cayce.
